Silo No. 7 wins the Hollander Prize for Reuse
The jury called it “a conversion that knows when to stop”. We are taking that as an instruction.

Silo No. 7 has won this year's Hollander Prize for Reuse. The jury singled out the decision to cut new openings only where daylight was needed, and to leave every saw cut raw.
The prize goes to the whole team, and to the port engineers who measured every cylinder wall before we drew a line. Their survey drawings are now part of the archive the building holds.
The prize money will fund two summer placements in the Rotterdam office for students from the Maashaven district.
